Bastet, the Egyptian cat goddess is painted in Acryl Gouache on Graphic Film with the frieze in coloured pencil.

 The portrait was to be of a friend's cat. I went to her house and followed the cat taking hundreds of photos then right at the end she sat up on the sofa looking at something out of the window. She looked so queenly that I decided to paint her as Bastet.
